Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms are between you and Isaac Poulton Limited (“FreedomRPG”, “we”, “us”), the company behind FreedomRPG. Using FreedomRPG means you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

Who can use FreedomRPG

FreedomRPG is adults-only. You must be 18 or older, and you confirm you are when you create an account.

What FreedomRPG is

FreedomRPG is a text-based roleplaying game with a game master that responds to what you do. It's interactive fiction, for entertainment. The stories are made up, and nothing the game master says is real-world advice.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login safe. Don't share your account or let anyone else use it, and tell us if you think someone else has access.

Acceptable use

Don't use FreedomRPG to:

• break the law, or create or solicit any content that sexualizes anyone under 18
• resell, rent, or share your access, or run the service for someone else for payment
• scrape or automate the service, or try to get around credit or payment limits
• attack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service, or probe it for weaknesses
• harass, threaten, or abuse us or anyone else through the service

We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Your stories

Your stories are yours. You keep the characters, worlds, and text you create. You give us the permission we need to store and process your content to run the game for you, and nothing more. We don't use your stories to train models unless you specifically ask us to. You're responsible for what you put in.

Credits

FreedomRPG runs on credits, a prepaid way to use the service. They're not money, they have no cash value, and you can't transfer or sell them.

• Wallet credits (top-ups, signup, daily logins, referrals) don't expire while your account is open.
• Membership allowance credits reset at the start of each billing period and don't roll over. Anything unused at the end of a period is gone.
• Free credits are promotional, and we can change or stop them.

Membership and billing

The Membership is a recurring monthly subscription, handled by Stripe (we never see your full card details). When you subscribe:

• You authorize us to charge you automatically each month until you cancel. The price is shown at checkout.
• You can cancel anytime. You keep the Membership until the end of the period you've paid for, and it doesn't renew after that. Your wallet credits stay.
• If you turn on auto-reload, you authorize us to top your wallet up automatically when it runs low, at the amount you set.
• If a payment fails, we may retry it, and cancel the Membership if it keeps failing.
• We may change the price. If we do, we'll tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel if you don't want to continue.
• Prices may not include taxes, which are added where they apply.

Refunds

Payments and credits are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Credits and Membership access are delivered immediately, so you agree to that immediate supply and understand that any statutory right to cancel ends once delivery starts.

The service is provided as-is

We work to keep FreedomRPG running well, but we provide it as-is. We don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change, pause, or discontinue features.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. If you do, or if we close your account for breaking these terms, any remaining credits are forfeited and not paid out.

Our liability

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law (for example, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Beyond that, our total liability to you for anything connected to FreedomRPG is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for lost stories, lost credits, or indirect losses.

Changes to these terms

We'll update this page if the terms change, and the date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use FreedomRPG after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
